The Responsibility of NTA is Limited to the conduct of the entrance test, declaration of result and providing All India Rank to the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

NEET UG 2025 General Instructions
The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test NEET (UG) –2025 will be conducted as per the regulations of the National Medical Commission Act-2019, Indian Medical Council Act-1956, and the Dentists Act-1948 and other relevant and applicable Acts, as amended from time to time.
The NEET Exam Pattern 2025 follows the latest format, featuring a total of 180 questions which are all compulsory questions which have to be attempted by the candidate. The exam consists of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology sections, with a total of 720 marks. It is conducted offline, with a duration of 3 hours (180 Minutes).
